Hi,  my name is Betty Whiteman and my husband and I are looking for donations of yarn, any color, any kind, We are making items for the needy at no cost to them and would love any yarn you could share with us.  Items we are making vary from afghans, baby blankets and hats, also hats and scarves for adults and children.  We are donating items to various agencies and the homeless. WORK NEEDED(8/28/09)
Need some work done around the house? I am an unemployed father of three trying to keep our heads above water due to the economy. Please see below for a listing of things I can do for you and contact me if there is something you need, that I have not listed. I am honest and will let you know if I can perform the work you need and all prices are nominal as opposed to usual labor costs.
- Paint interior walls, trim, or cabinets (you provide paint)
- Install ceiling fans (you provide fans, I provide installation equipment)
- Install gas logs for fire places (you provide logs)
- Install door and/or cabinet hardware (you provide hardware, I provide installation equipment)
- Shampoo carpets (you provide rental shampooer)
- Pull weeds, install plants, and basic landscaping duties (you provide anything you want planted or installed)
- Mover. I will help relocate your home or work related items in your vehicle from place to place.
- I will put stuff together like a BBQ, play set, furniture, etc.
