Children

The Edge meets twice a week for fun and activities.

Sunday morning, 1st-5th graders meet in the Children's Worship Center during both services for fun, worship, activities, learning about the Bible, and (of course) snacks!

Wednesday nights at 6:45pm, children 3 years old though 5th grade study one of two awesome programs with age appropriate lessons on becoming more like Jesus. Take a look below for more.

KIDS QUEST

A small group, discipleship program for children in pre-kindergarten through grade two, which takes them on a quest to Discover God’s Word, Discover God’s Plan, Discover God’s Son, and Discover God’s Will. Plus, each book is written uniquely for your child’s age in mind! Using Bible stories, kids will listen, learn, look, and live with safari animals as they complete their weekly lessons at home and participate in games, crafts, and stories during their small group time at church. This curriculum not only teaches children Bible stories, but also prepares children to take the next step into Breakout!

BREAKOUT

The Breakout series is a four-book, small group discipleship program designed to help your 3rd through 6th grade students dig deeper in their spiritual lives. Just as the adults at Saddleback Church complete Class 101-Class 401, your students will learn what it means to Know Christ, Grow in Christ, Serve Christ, and Share Christ. Each book is broken up into three sections of eight lessons for a total of twenty-four lessons. The program requires each student to complete the lessons in their books as homework and then discuss it with their leaders and friends at church. [Note: Pathway's program runs only through 5th grade, since 6th grade is middle school in our district.]
