Some Info about Giving

Yeah, yeah. All churches are really just after your money, right?

Some people are surprised to find out that giving was God's idea, not the church's. It's a Biblical principle and good for you, not just for the church.

First, the part where God says to do it:

Be sure to set aside a tenth of all that your fields produce each year. Deuteronomy 14:22 (New International Version)

Second, God says it belongs to Him anyway:

A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD. Leviticus 27:30 (New International Version)

Even better, what you get out of it:

Honor the Lord with your wealth
and with the best part of everything you produce.
Then he will fill your barns with grain,
and your vats will overflow with good wine.
Proverbs 3:9-10 (New Living Translation)

"Bring to the storehouse a full tenth of what you earn so there will be food in my house. Test me in this," says the Lord All-Powerful. "I will open the windows of heaven for you and pour out all the blessings you need." Malachi 3:10 (New Century Version)

Giving Online

In order to give online, please visit your regular banking institution's online bill payment section.

Create a vendor called "Pathway Church" and use the following address:
611 E Cypress Avenue, Redlands, CA 92374

In the "reference" or "account number" field, type your name followed by "Tithe/Offering," and note the amount and date you would like your gift to reach Pathway Church.

Your bank will then send us the check.

Note: Each bank may have its own guidelines or fees to use this service. Be sure you read and understand the terms of service for your financial institution when giving online.

Important!

Like we said in the info section, giving is really about the relationship between you and God, not about the relationship between money and the church.

The Sunday offering and other forms of giving discussed on this page are meant for those who consider Pathway their home and are working to honor God through regular giving.

We, of course, will graciously accept gifts, too! We just don't want you to feel obligated to participate just because it's a "church."
