When I was in High School I had a Fiat spider 4 seater. It was really small. I think that car is the reason I like big vehicles now. It had an 8 gallon gas tank and got about 40 mpg. In the early seventies gas was about 20 cents a gallon so I could fill up for $1.50. 6 of my football team mates could pick the car up and move it. There wasn't much room leftover after I got in. However, at youth group one night we got 12 High School kids in the car. I'm scarred for life now because of that. I got way to close to people that......well we'll just leave it at that. The car caught on fire, one day, as I drove to school which was a good thing in many ways, I missed my math class, It was very dramatic end to a season of life and I got a ford pickup.
I love Miracle Whip but my wife and kids won't let it stay in our house so I am forced have Mayo. I only get MW when I go home to mom.
Just recently I tried to sneak a jar into our house, I got one sandwich made and eaten before the precious jar....MY precious jar of Miracle Whip was thrown in the trash. I will win this battle!
If I can find a good Rib Eye for cheap that is a win win.
This is really hard, I've eaten in too many great places. Here is a list:
Sardine's Fish Restaurant. On the Gulf in Beaumont, Texas. Best fish ever. The Stables in Guthrie Oklahoma. Great ribs, steaks and sweat potato fries. Buca Di Beppos Italian Restaurant very loud and fun (there is one in Claremont). Don's Restaurant Wichita, Kansas great breakfast (heart attack on a plate). Of course, Mill Creek Cattle Company.
Do ya get the idea I enjoy a good eating experience, especially with friends and family.
Cowboy boots and tennis shoes. Nothing beats a good pair of Lucchese Ostrich skin boots, but I can't afford them. Tony Lama or Dan Post are a nice second.
No way! Well...ya know ...I still have my first baseman's glove. does that count?
Back in 1976 I had some great Cheese Cake in New York City at a place that had a sign saying "Worlds Greatest Cheese Cake, It was! It was an eating experience for which I will return, someday. Bev Whitney's coconut cream pie at the Willy Burger in Haviland, Kansas is by far the best coconut pie in the world, but nothing will ever beat out my mom's southern bread pudding.
